What to include in the Host Rules?

According to our Terms & Conditions guests are required to follow the rules of the space, they want to book. That is why, it is very important that you add your rules regarding access, permitted activities, cancellation policy, etc. If you have multiple spaces on Spacebase, you may add different rules for different rooms. Please keep in mind that these rules shouldn't include requirements related to cleaning. As a host, you are the one responsible for cleaning your space after every booking. However, you may add a cleaning fee to the price of your space (read more about cleaning fee here). 

Our policies on cancellation, overtime, deposit, and damage apply to all bookings between hosts and guests. Your host rules may not contradict our policies. Please review our Terms & Conditions here.

Host rule examples:

  • Furniture must be moved back to where you found it. 
  • Front door must be locked when leaving the space. Please use a lock box and key code provided. 
  • Custom cancellation policy applies. 
  • No loud music allowed after 7pm.
